Welcome to Hobbs Flooring Services. By engaging our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of service. Please review them carefully.
1. Description of Services
Hobbs Flooring Services specializes in professional flooring installation, replacement, repairs, existing flooring removal, and subfloor preparation for residential and commercial properties. Our services are performed by experienced professionals using industry-standard techniques and materials.
2. Quotes and Estimates
All quotes and estimates provided by Hobbs Flooring Services are based on the information available at the time of quotation. Final pricing may vary based on unforeseen site conditions, material availability, changes requested by the client, or additional work required that was not apparent during the initial assessment. We will communicate any potential changes to the client promptly.
3. Invoice-Based Payments
Our services operate on an invoice-based payment system. Upon completion of work, or at agreed-upon milestones for larger projects, an invoice will be issued. Payment terms will be clearly stated on each invoice (e.g., "Net 30 days"). Payments can be made securely online via Stripe or other agreed-upon methods.
4. Deposits and Milestone Payments
For certain projects, particularly those requiring significant material orders or extensive labor, a deposit may be required before work commences. For larger projects, milestone payments may be scheduled, aligning payments with the completion of specific project phases. All deposit and milestone payment terms will be clearly outlined in the project agreement or quote.
5. Cancellations
Clients wishing to cancel scheduled services must notify Hobbs Flooring Services in writing at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time. Cancellations made without sufficient notice may incur a cancellation fee to cover administrative costs or lost labor opportunity. Any deposits paid may be non-refundable depending on materials ordered or work already performed.
6. Limitation of Liability
Hobbs Flooring Services will perform its services with reasonable care and skill. However, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the services; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the services; (c) any content obtained from the services; and (d) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Hobbs Flooring Services for the services in question.
7. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Hobbs Flooring Services operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.
8. Changes to Terms of Service
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
